Home Energy Assessments

Everyone wants to be comfortable at home while saving as much money as possible. A home energy assessment is a simple way to pinpoint how you can get the most out of every dollar you spend on energy.

Benefits of Participating

  • Learn more about how your home uses energy.
  • Get expert energy efficiency advice to help you address any problem areas.
  • Get recommendations that could save you between 10% and 20% each year on energy.*
  • Have energy-efficient products installed to help you start saving immediately.
  • Receive home energy efficiency upgrades at no additional cost (if you meet income eligibility requirements).

All Assessments Include Inspection of:

check Health and safety

check Insulation levels

check Air leakage around windows/doors

check Lighting and appliances

check Heating and cooling systems

check Water heating equipment

Before You Schedule

If you can, gather your most recent PSE&G bills to see when your energy use spikes. Also, note any questions or comfort issues you experience (such as drafty doors or unusually hot or cold rooms) so you can discuss with your energy adviser.
