Get up to a $750 rebate on select ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump water heaters.

If your water heater is more than 10 years old, start planning ahead! Replacing it with an ENERGY STAR® certified unit can help you avoid the hassles, stress, and costs associated with water heater failure.

Heat pump water heaters that are ENERGY STAR certified use a highly efficient heat pump to transfer heat from the surrounding air to the water in the storage tank. This process uses much less power than traditional water heaters, which helps you save energy and money.

Why Upgrade to an ENERGY STAR Certified Heat Pump Water Heater?

  1. You’ll save energy. An ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heater uses less than half the energy of a standard electric water heater.*
  2. You’ll save money. A typical family of four could save up to $350 per year in energy costs compared with a standard electric water heater.* Although an ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heater costs more up front, the savings can pay back the difference in just two years.
  3. You’ll get a rebate. Select models qualify for rebates up to $750.
