Energy Check for Multi-family Homes

If you manage or own a multi-family property of four or more units in the PSE&G service territory, learn how your residents can start reducing their energy costs.

In multi-family properties, lowering per-unit utility costs can go a long way toward increasing resident satisfaction and enhancing the livability of your building. By scheduling a free Energy Check, property managers and owners can help residents reduce their home energy expenses.

Interested property managers and owners can begin by contacting PSE&G and discussing the Energy Check program in-depth. Afterward, certified PSE&G energy advisers can arrange a time and date to perform common area assessments and in-unit assessments with residents’ permission. The energy adviser may install energy-saving products like the following at no additional cost:

  • LED light bulbs
  • Faucet aerators
  • Efficient-flow showerheads
  • ShowerStart® showerhead adapters
  • Advanced power strips

What multi-family properties are eligible?

Managers and owners of multi-family properties with residentially metered units receiving electric or gas service from PSE&G can qualify for free Energy Checks. To get started, call 1-855-846-2895 or email PSEGHomeEnergy@icf.com.
